CONFIDENTIAL

PS_01: Smart EV Charging Infrastructure Optimization

Build an intelligent platform to optimize electric vehicle charging infrastructure by balancing charging demand, charger availability, power grid constraints, and user behavior. The system should minimize waiting times, reduce grid stress, and improve charger utilization across regions or fleets

Constraints: Solutions should rely on local or edge processing where possible Should provide actionable insights for operators and users Focus on scalability and cost-effectiveness

PS_02: Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Communication

Design a system that enables vehicles to exchange real-time data with each other to improve safety, traffic efficiency, and cooperative decision-making without relying on cloud infrastructure.

Constraints: Communication must be direct (no cloud dependency) | Low latency and high reliability are critical Should function in dense traffic and urban environments | Must use affordable communication hardware

PS_03: Digital Twin for EV Systems

Create a digital twin of an electric vehicle or its key subsystems using real-world sensor data to enable monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization.

Constraints: Real-time or near real-time data synchronization | Must run on limited computational resources | Focus on one EV subsystem | Output should clearly support decision-making or optimization

PS_04: Low-Cost Sensor Substitution for EV Perception

Design a perception system that uses low-cost sensors combined with software algorithms to replicate or approximate the functionality of expensive sensors used in autonomous or assisted driving.

Constraints: Use inexpensive and widely available sensors | Processing should be done locally | Accuracy should be sufficient for safe decision-making | System should demonstrate cost-performance trade-offs

PS_05: Open Innovation

Propose your own innovative solution related to electric mobility, sustainable transportation, or smart vehicle systems. Bring your unique idea to revolutionize the future of movement.

Constraints: Must align with track theme | Clear problem definition | Viable MVP within 36 hours
